How to distinguish the authenticity of IC when purchasing?

After so many years of development in the integrated circuit market, in the process of research and development or learning, it is unavoidable to order some chips to meet their own needs when applying. However, there are still some specific problems. One is that the quality of the agent is good, but the quantity is too small. Generally, they are not willing to deal with you. Unless there is a stock and you pick it up at home, if you order futures, it may not be able to reach the minimum order quantity, and the delivery time may be too long for you to accept. It is also not easy to apply for samples, unless you apply for them on the brand's website. For brand information, you can log in to Tianchuang Micro Technology. Or you can directly sell goods in the electronic market. If the goods on the market are mixed, you should learn to distinguish the authenticity of IC!

There are two ways to disassemble old pieces: 1. Hot air method, which is a formal method, is used for clean and tidy boards, especially for valuable SMD boards. 2. The frying method, which is really true, is often used for very old or very messy garbage boards.

Here I want to make it clear to you that the waste generated in the process of separation and reproduction of old films will seriously pollute the environment (including a large number of toxic compounds and heavy metals that are difficult to degrade) if not properly treated, and the cost of proper treatment will be higher than the total recovery income, so some companies in developed countries would rather spend money and pay freight to send electronic waste to China and some countries in South Asia than dispose of it by themselves, which is said. The price difference between the old and new chips can not recover the loss of environmental pollution, which must be understood by everyone!

The main methods to distinguish the original and refurbished goods are as follows:

1. Check whether there is any polished mark on the chip surface. The polished chip surface will have fine lines or even micro-marks of previous printing. Some of them are coated with a thin layer of paint to cover up the chip surface, which looks a little shiny and has no plastic texture.

2. Look at the printing. Most of the chips now use laser marking or special chip printing machine to print, and the handwriting is clear, not conspicuous, not fuzzy and difficult to erase. The renovated chip either has a jagged feeling due to the corrosion of the writing edge by the cleaning agent, or the printing is fuzzy, uneven in depth, incorrect in position, easy to erase or too conspicuous. In addition, the current large IC factories have already eliminated the screen printing process, but many chip refurbishments still use the screen printing process due to cost reasons, which is also one of the basis for judgment. The screen printing words will be slightly higher than the chip surface, and you can feel the slight uneven or astringent feeling with your hand.

3. Look at the pins. All tinned pins that are as bright as new must be refurbished. Most of the pins of the original IC should be so-called silver powder pins, which are dark in color but uniform in color. There should be no oxidation marks or flux on the surface. In addition, the pins of DIP and other plug-ins should not have any scratch marks. Even if there are scratches (only after repackaging), they should be neat and in the same direction, and the metal exposure should be smooth and free of oxidation.

5. Measure the thickness of the device and look at the edge of the device. Many polishing and refurbishing pieces of original laser printing (mostly power devices) must be polished deeper to remove the original mark, so that the overall thickness of the device will be significantly smaller than the normal size, but it is difficult for the inexperienced people to distinguish without comparison or measuring with a caliper, but there is an alternative method of identification, that is, looking at the front edge of the device. Because the plastic packaging device must be demoulded after injection molding, the edge angle of the device is circular (R angle), but the size is not large. It is easy to grind the rounded corner into a right angle during polishing processing. Therefore, once the front edge of the device is right angle, it can be judged as a polished product.

In addition, there is another way to see whether the merchant has a large number of original external packaging materials, including cardboard boxes with consistent internal and external identification, anti-static plastic bags, etc. In actual identification, multiple methods should be used. If there is a problem, the goods of the device can be identified
